Superb house called the Golden Tree, small museum housing some historical pieces housed in the vaulted cellar

The brewers' guild was founded in the 16th century in this beautiful house on the Grote Markt, called the Golden Tree. The wars of Louis XIV devastated Flanders and the guild rebuilt it after it was bombed in 1695. A small museum with some historical pieces was housed in the vaulted cellar of the house. After the opening of the Belgian Beer World at the Stock Exchange, scheduled for the summer of 2023, the Belgian Brewers intend to keep part of their headquarters open to the public and the cellar will therefore remain accessible.

Petit musée. On y découvre les outils pour la favrication de la bière. Dispose aussi d'un bar avec dégustation de bière inclus dans le prix de l'entrée.

Musée serait peut être un grand mot..Ce n'était pas réellement un "musée", mais plutôt une petite chambre avec un équipement Brewing. En ce qui concerne l'histoire de la production de bière, le programme fût intéressant. Il y a un agréable bar après le film, d'anciennes cuves et ses barils sans oublier le verre de bière de dégustation inclus dans le prix.
