Built in 1874 by the architect Pierre-Victor Jamaer, the King's House is an extraordinary late neo-Gothic building located on the Grand Place, on the site of the bread market (Broodhuis) which existed here in the 13th century. The city museum is a real treasure trove from the Middle Ages to the present day: models of the city, sculptures and fountains, paintings and altarpieces, old maps, tapestries and earthenware made in Brussels. Its centrepiece: the statue of the most famous Brussels ketjes: the Manneken-Pis. Many temporary exhibitions.

On y trouve des petits objets du quotidien, des tableaux et maquettes qui permettent de comprendre l'histoire de la ville et ... du manneken-pis.
Un petit musée très sympa où chacun y trouve son compte.

Ah , la Grand Place de Bruxelles : un chef d'oeuvre à elle toute seule ! Ne manquez pas de visiter le MUSEE DE LA VILLE DE BRUXELLES : manneken pis , vous connaissez ? Et l'histoire de ce petit "ketje" de Bruxelles , bref , l'HISTOIRE de Bruxelles , tout simplement : cela VAUT LE DETOUR !

Un beau bâtiment abritant une collection d'objets et d'images sur l'histoire de Bruxelles. Au dernier étage on trouve des costumes du célèbre Manneken Pis, qui valent vraiment le coup d'oeil.
