Choco-Story is a museum with a 250 m² fun and educational trail dedicated to the entire cocoa-chocolate industry.
The 17th-century building is superb. The 250 m² fun and educational tour, dedicated to the entire cocoa-chocolate chain, is a masterpiece, appealing to young and old alike. Scenes begin in Aztec times, and lead up to the arrival of chocolate in the courts of Europe in the 16th century, and how it was shaped into praline. Next, a projection followed by an appetizing demonstration of cocoa processing. Superb collection of exceptional and rare objects. Workshops for adults and children are a creative and delicious way to create your own chocolate bar.

A chocolate museum unique in Belgium
The Musée du Cacao et du Chocolat opened its doors in 1998 on the Grand-Place in Brussels. The passion and expertise of its creators quickly made Belgium's first chocolate museum an important showcase for quality Belgian chocolate in the heart of the capital. Our themed, interactive rooms retrace the incredible history of chocolate, from the consumption of beans by the Aztecs to the discovery of chocolate in Europe and the invention of Belgian praline. Our chocolate-making and tasting workshops allow you to discover the chocolate-making process. Discover how cocoa beans are harvested on plantations and how chocolate is created in all its forms.

Chocolate workshops in which visitors learn about the different production methods, from the cocoa bean to the chocolate, right up to the handcrafted Belgian praline. Our artisan chocolatiers take you step by step through the making of your own chocolate bars and treats.
You can visit our boutique at the end of the tour, where you'll find a wide range of chocolate products.

The "tablette" workshop: Our artisan chocolatiers take you step by step through the process of making your own chocolate tablets and treats. Various ingredients are available to decorate your lollipops, mendiants and tablettes. You'll go home with your own production and the invaluable advice of our chocolatiers.
Virtual reality film. A 100% immersive experience with a VR headset that plunges you into the origins of cocoa. Length: 15 minutes.
