Museum that illustrates the history and life stories of the Jewish community in Brussels
This beautiful building, close to the Great Synagogue on Rue Royale, is today a museum that illustrates the history and life stories of the Jewish community through its collections of religious objects, textiles, paintings, drawings, posters, photographs, music scores and recordings. The museum also organizes temporary exhibitions and various activities aimed at schools. Inside is the reconstruction of the Beth Israel Shul, a small synagogue in Molenbeek that ceased its activities in 2002.
