Here is a museum that ventures where others do not go: in the art brut, outsider, marginal, off the beaten track. Why is this? Because the artists exhibited do not come out of the classical education system. They are self-taught, mentally handicapped or suffer from a psychiatric illness. But what unites these different profiles is the need, often vital, to create. Art et Marges brings this particular art to light, makes them interact with each other and with "traditional" artists in order to push back the boundaries of art.
