It's been a while since Hinterland took over this elegant building on the corner between Place Stéphanie and Châtelain, and despite the proliferation of coffee bars on the Chaussée de Charleroi, it remains a safe bet. Open from early morning coffee to afternoon tea, it's a great place to hang out with family, friends or friends alone, to enjoy home cooking and a wide range of beverages, caffeinated or not. And the cement tile floor mixed with wood adds a real touch of cachet to the place. A space is reserved for those who come to work with their laptops.
