At the entrance to the Marolles district opposite the Porte de Hal, an authentic Brussels caberdouche, part café, part restaurant. With a vintage setting, 1930s tiles that match the wooden panelling, tables and chairs with a patina of years and buttocks, and of course Margarita who takes care of a motley clientele capable of setting the mood at any time. You can drink all day and eat at lunchtime and in the evening, with a basic but well thought-out and inexpensive menu. For those nostalgic for a Brussels that recently disappeared.
