BRASSERIE DE L'UNION
A veritable institution, with mismatched furnishings and a zwanzeur spirit to match, on the square in front of Saint-Gilles.
An institution among neighborhood bistros, with its regulars, where everyone is welcome and feels at home. It owes its name to the famous Union Saint-Gilloise, which remains probably the most zwanzeur soccer club in the country. Inside, the furniture is as mismatched as it is from another era, that of our (grand)parents. Outside, the terrace stretches out as far as it can on the semi-pedestrian square of Saint-Gilles, one of the town's trendiest districts. A long beer list and spaghetti bolo or lasagne for those who are a little peckish.
