The historic Palace Hotel, a handsome, geometric Art Nouveau building, is getting a new lease on life after a facelift and a change of ownership. DoubleTree is the more "family-friendly" brand of the Hilton group (by the way, they welcome you with a cookie). In the lobby, you'll still find memories of the Palace and the charm of these turn-of-the-century hotels. The bar-restaurant, too, retains a touch of that era. In the rooms, the emphasis is on sobriety: large, comfortable beds with a vintage look, restful tones... What's more, the hotel has been awarded the Green Key label!
