De Markten, located on the site of the former Jericho convent, once housed a branch of the Sint-Lambrecht crystal works. In 1978, the Flemish Region bought the place to give it a cultural vocation. un bel endroit, surtout fréquenté par une clientèle néerlandophone et jeune, offrant une cuisine bio simple (sandwiches, soupes, etc), sans chichi, avec journaux à disposition. Très belle terrasse dans un quartier piétonnier, au centre de tout. Plutôt accessible en transports en commun
