Wilkakocha is a small lake located in the black cordillera. To get there, count 10 minutes of combi on the main road to the south and then 1 to 2 hours of climbing to the lake. This hike is perfect for a gentle acclimatization to the altitude. You can easily do it in half a day and it is considered easy, as you don't pass the 4 000 meters mark. But be careful, there are still 500 meters of difference in altitude to climb (3 200-3 700). It is better to go on a cloudless day to enjoy the panorama on the white mountain range.
