A rainbow trout farm has been established here, a fish imported in 1928 from Sacramento (USA). 75 ponds allow to appreciate the growth cycles of these beautiful (and succulent) salmonids. Many restaurants. The locals go there especially on weekends to "take the green". Folk music in the background, trout in all its forms and beers. A small path that runs alongside the restaurants and gets lost along the stream. You already feel like you're in the Mantaro Valley. To get there by combi from Huancayo, about 30 minutes.
