Asleep for decades, the fortress offers a journey back in time, with guided and self-guided tours, as well as a strolling show in the heart of the fortress. The walls sigh, the paintings speak to you, the ghosts of the bowels emerge... Sensations guaranteed! Dating from the 12th century, the fortress is one of the finest examples of Auvergne military architecture (the scene of numerous clashes during the Wars of Religion) and one of the best preserved. Since 2024, a new animated show: the Brasserie d'Antan.
