CATEDRAL

Like the other three churches, it was founded by the Dominicans and completed by the Jesuits between 1555 and 1570. The facade is in a mixed baroque style, with a touch of churrigueresque. The nave, a mixture of cut and rough stones and bricks, on the walls of which polychrome floral motifs survive, houses beautiful Italian, Spanish and Cusco school paintings. The choir, for its part, gleams with the fire of its gilded altar. A beautiful cathedral for a small village. If you are passing by, it is worth a visit.
