A perfect stopover for pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela, where they can recharge their batteries with sandwiches, fruit and vegetables, or a few groceries.
It's the ideal address for St. Jacques hikers to take a break or pick up sandwiches, fruit and vegetables, or a few groceries, before hitting the road again. Regulars will tell you that you're in for a treat with special breads, country bread, fig bread, walnut-raisin bread, the astonishing corn bread, rye pies, traditional or seeded baguettes, sliced bread and an assortment of viennoiseries. During the festive season, there's a choice of rolled logs, followed by galettes and bugnes. On Friday evenings, they make takeaway pizzas, to be ordered before 6pm.
