Gîte with rooms on the floors and a kitchen in Saint-Privat-d'Allier.

L'Abri du Jacquet is a beautiful stone house, welcoming us at this first stage of the route to encourage us in our pilgrimage. Congratulations to Michèle and Alain - who have been walking the paths themselves - for their welcome in a house that many pilgrims have known for a number of years. There are 3 rooms on the upper floors and a kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. Last year, due to health regulations, only half-board was available. Please enquire as to the evolution of this service.

Es gibt schlichtweg nichts zu bemängeln. Bei soviel Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundlichkeit, leckerem Essen und Wein kann man sich nur wohlfühlen. Die Gîte ist extrem gemütlich und ein Ort der Regeneration und Erholung.

Pour ma première étape sur le chemin de Saint Jacques de Compostelle j'ai pu réserver au dernier moment et passer une agréable nuit dans cette auberge, idéalement située à Saint Privat sur Allier, accueil parfait, propreté irréprochable autant dans les dortoirs/salles de bain/cuisine/wc.... Matelas confortables.De plus la demi pension permet de partager le repas avec les autres pèlerins et randonneurs.Je recommande vivement! Encore merci pour cette formidable expérience pour débuter sereinement et en forme sur le Camino !!!
