PLAGE DE PORTO PIM

The island's only clear-sand beach is just a 5-minute walk from the town center. Sheltered in a shallow bay, it's immune to swell and waves, and its waters turn turquoise with the first rays of sunshine. Locals come here to relax after a hard day's work, to swim even in winter, or just to enjoy a drink at the lively bar above the rampart. It's also the perfect place to try your hand at snorkeling, as the waters around the rocks are teeming with multicolored fish.
