A superb viewpoint within walking distance of the Furnas golf course.
On the higher ground, at an altitude of 544 metres, close to the golf course, there is a superb view of the crater, 7 km in diameter and 250 metres deep, and, in fine weather, of the peaks of the Planalto dos Graminhais to the east. The island of Santa Maria is sometimes even visible. This superb viewpoint is accessible on foot (but beware of the steep gradient and slippery conditions in wet weather) or by car. Depuis le miradouro, belle vue sur le lac de Furnas et la campagne environnante. Possibilité de rejoindre le lac par un sentier de rando. A faire absolument lors de votre séjour!

Le miradouro offre une vue très jolie sur le lac. On distingue le lac et on aperçoit les vapeurs du site volcanique. Le miradouro est sur une jolie route qui permet la visite de l'ile. A faire en passant.
Several views once you reach the top of the tower, a beautiful volcanic landscape, quite desert reminiscent of the planet March... very beautiful photos of taking there!
