One of the best campsites on Furnas Island, inaugurated in June 2002.

The campsite, opened in June 2002, is located in the direction of the thermal baths and calderas from the centre, behind the Terra Nostra botanical garden. Very well located. The toilets are clean and the water is hot! The bar do Parque, which is not a snack bar, is lively in season. One of the best campsites on the island according to the locals! Please note: cars are not allowed in the campsite and they are rather strict about the rules regarding silence!

Fiquei 3 dias neste parque de campismo, e que experiência fantástica! Ótimas condições para os mais pequenos (e para os grandes também ????). Funcionários bastante simpáticos, água quente e eletricidade ???? funcional! Existem também um campo de mini-golfe, um campo de futebol e várias áreas de churrasco espalhadas pelo parque. Uma das maiores vantagens é o restaurante que se encontra dentro do parque de campismo, que serve um cozido das Furnas fenomenal! Recomendo bastante!

On the weekend lot of locals comes here to spend the weekend, so it gets pretty busy, but during week time, even in august, it got plenty of space.
4 different shower/toilet areas, each with 3 showers per gender.

El camping en si está bien, las instalaciones están en bastante buen estado y las conservan medianamente bien. El problema y de ahí mi votación tan negativa es el ruido de la gente, y la pasividad del personal del camping, niñ@s y adultos chillando hasta casi las 2 de la madrugada!!! Una vergüenza!!! El respeto por los demás en cuanto al descanso ahí no existe y nadie del camping hace nada por evitarlo, sin duda no volveré ni lo recomendaré.

Lástima el ruido, los sábados se supone que a la 1 silencio. Pero NO es cierto.Algunas familias portuguesas se lo toman como lugar de fiesta familiar... Una pena!!! porque la relación calidad- precio-entorno es buena.
