With a pub on the first floor and a restaurant on the first, the two brothers behind this establishment seem to have got it right. A game of pool or table soccer to whet the appetite, a few steps to climb, and you're soon at the table. On the menu, it's hard to predict, as the chef prepares a summer menu and a winter menu, while maintaining a few staples. These include bruchetta de bolo levedo as a starter, lombo de novilho as a main course and, of course, the unmissable cozido. Good address.

Caldeiras & Vulcoes is a restaurant located in Furnas. It invites you to sample its renovated cuisine, a concept consistent with the environment. The menu features a variety of starters, pastas, salads, seafood/meat dishes and side dishes. Let yourself be seduced by its simple Caesar salads, fish fillets, grilled octopus... Vegetarian options are also presented (Risotto, veggie pasta...). A special mention goes to the yam cheesecake, a distinctive delicacy that reflects the culture of the Furnas people. To offer you the very best, Chef Paulo Mendonça Costa himself selects the ingredients from local producers and suppliers. A gourmet address to discover!
