I loved Palmer’s Resort! It is old school and if you like fluff and fancy, this may not be the place for you. We stayed in the Lagoon Cottage and it was nice, clean and quiet. Palmer’s is close to everything you may want to do in the Keys and it worked out great for our itinerary! The staff were very nice and helpful!
????♀️Do not waste your vacation time booking this resort. Our room was 2x2. Full of mold. The AC was installed very low and was constantly turning in on and off. We called maintenance and they were unable to help us. We paid $299.00 per night plus tax. Additionally, when you get there you have an extra fee of $65.00 for resort fee.
No healthy breakfast.
Extremely disappointed!
PLEASE, PlEASE, PLEASE, do not book your vacation on this resort is totally dated an over priced. The pictures that are posted on the website will totally mislead you.
The entire property premises needs to be remodel is old and creepy. Although I requested a suite . My first room had a mold smell issue and luckily they gave me another room.
I recommend the Marriott Courtyard. New and reasonable pricing.
Units are dated and property needs some work. This place could be a great opportunity for someone to come in and put some money into refurbishing the resort. Has great potential, but property is over priced at this point.
Our room was two twin beds, it was small, the A/C was loud, a wall light randomly fell off, the power went out…. But the staff were very friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to inquiries, the complimentary breakfast was sufficient, and the location was perfect! It was close enough to easily drive to Key West or to explore the surrounding area and Keys. Most importantly, it was quiet!
Would I stay here again? If I’m trying to save some money, Yes! For the price, I couldn’t have been happier.
Parmer's Resort is a hidden gem! Daily activities like breakfast, paddle boards and kayaks, water aerobics, yoga, pool, putting green, gorgeous sites right on the water. Front desk staff and others are great. Super friendly low key place to stay in close proximity to Bahia Honda, Marathon activities, Curry Hammock State Park
living at the Parmer’s resort was like being in a dream. Beautiful rooms. Lovely seafront view. Not crowded at all. And the best part are the staff and management. They are extremely cordial and courteous, they know how to make guests feel special. Whenever we come back at Key west we are staying at the Parmers.
It was $400 for a room you would find at fish camp in Canada. Very, EXTREMELY poor.
No chairs or table. One weird divan type of thing we put our luggage on. A strange shelf - on one side only of the bed. No table lamps so the only light was overhead.
Rusty old bathroom, especially tub, that was beyond creepy.
On registration, they gave us a cookie. I set mine on a napkin on the dresser in the room. I was going to break off a piece about an hour later and it was covered in thousands of tiny ants!
The staff at the front desk made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped on the property. The room exceeded our expectations with fantastic views and everything we need for a longer stay, so much so that we booked an extra night!
Duur en een beetje ouderwets. Onderhoud van de lodges loopt ook achter. Maar misschien is dat wel juist de charme van het zuidelijkste stukje Florida :))
Loved the Old Florida style, but the rooms are a bit dated. Bed was comfy, towels were nice and the views are great.
The staff is super nice, very accommodating and eager to offer a lot of information and suggestions on local sites, restaurants and resort info.
If you want a fancy, perfect looking resort, this is not it. If you want a quaint, quiet and peaceful place, this is it.
It does seem a bit pricey to me, but it is 2023, November in FL and in the Keys.....so it is probably not that bad.
I would recommend if you are an old soul with an open mind and don't expect Ritz-Carlton perfection. I would stay here again
We stayed at Parmers over Thanksgiving and absolutely loved it. Everyone on staff is so kind and friendly. The cottages are very simple, but comfortable and clean. The highlight for me was being able to sit outside our cottage in the morning and watch the sunrise. It was an incredibly relaxing visit, and we are looking forward to visiting again soon.
My only suggestion would be to hang a full length mirror in the room. The small one in the restroom just doesn’t cut it.
Nice, peaceful property tucked back out of the way. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we were given a nice upgraded room after telling the desk person it was our honeymoon. Paddle boards and kayaks complimentary. Our only complaint was that we were on the first floor of a 4 unit building and could hear the people above walking around. Thankfully, they were fishermen and didn't stay up late. Decent continental breakfast with fresh fruit.
No healthy breakfast.
