The longest fishing pier on Marathon Key, used for fishing, jogging, rollerblading and biking, provides access to Pigeon Key
Parallel to the "new" Seven Mile Bridge (built in 1982) that you will take with the car, it is undoubtedly the longest fishing pier ever seen! Indeed, since the new bridge was built, the Old Seven Mile Bridge, completed in 1912, is only used for fishing, jogging, rollerblading or cycling. It also provides access to Pigeon Key. It was closed from 2006 to 2022 for a $77 million renovation. The place has been used several times as a set for movies like Fast and Furious 2 or Mission Impossible III.
