Port Everglades is the third busiest port in the world, with 3.9 million passengers in 2019. It hosts 9 cruise lines and a Balearia ferry that connects to two Bahamian islands in only 2 to 3 hours. This port also has the advantage of being only a 5-minute drive from the Fort Lauderdale airport. Shuttles and cabs connect the two. Port Everglades has a parking lot at 15 US$ per day. It is rather interesting in case of a few days escapade in the Caribbean Sea.

L'accès y est réglementé. Il faut montrer son passeport et son billet de croisière.
Quand on dépose les bagages, il faut prévoir deux dollars de commission pour le bagagiste qui soulève le bagage et le dépose sur le tapis roulant.
On passe ensuite le filtre de sécurité pour les bagages à main.
La salle d'embarquement n'était pas si grande.
Beaucoup de personnes cependant pour faciliter autant que possible l'enregistrement.
