Located across from Bush Gardens, Adventure Island is Tampa's only water park. Opened in 1980, it includes a dozen slides (some of which are really thrilling!), three pools and water play areas for children. New features include Rapids Racer - a 180-meter-high slide that two people ride down on a raft - and Wahoo! Remix - a slide with sound and light effects. The park also offers several snack bars, food trucks and bars for you to eat. A great way to spend the day without getting bored.
