The museum is housed in a beautiful historic building that was once a police and fire station. It is dedicated to the creation, architecture, history, environmental preservation and evolution of the city of Coral Gables. The exhibits presented are particularly rich and vary several times a year. The museum continues its cultural mission by offering bike rides on the third Sunday of the month and kayaking trips on the fourth Sunday of the month (book online).
