Surrounded by palm hedges, the resort on the edge of the beach also has a beautiful swimming pool to take full advantage of the surroundings. Tropical atmosphere like the establishment likes to describe itself. The complex offers comfortable rooms with a sober decoration enhanced by colourful and flowery motifs with window curtains, decorative tables and flip-of-bed. Ideal for a relaxing stay.

Das Modell aus den 60er Jahren ist in seiner Jahre gekommen und braucht in den dringende Erneuerung. Sehr gute Lage sehr saubere Zimmer.

Real, old school Florida style inn, directly on the beach. Not many of these type of places left and they should be cherished. Not luxury accommodations but if you have right sized expectations it’s an amazing value. Rooms are basic but clean and do have a kitchenette with coffee maker, sink, mini fridge, microwave, some basic dinnerware/ glasses etc. also a counter/bar with counter space. Bed/pillows/bedding adequate. Quiet area with great restaurants and shops. The clerk Tony was definitely a highlight of our trip. Definitely want to come stay here again as the location and value is hard to beat.

Absolutely incredible experience my wife and I were here for a wedding and loved our stay here. The beach is just footsteps out the door from all rooms. The courtyard flora and fauna are breathtaking to witness. This is truly a unique one of a kind place that I hope continues to host us for years to come. I look forward to returning and relaxing on the poolside or beach very tough decisions. Cheers ????!

1* reviews are difficult to hand out because it affects a small business owner’s ability to provide for their employees, however, sometimes they are needed as a wake up call to do better, to be better. Silver Sands Beach Resort can do much better, let me explain. Called to make the reservation and specifically asked if there any ocean front rooms available and did those rooms have a view of the ocean. The gentleman put me on hold, after a minute or so he came back and said yes. Stated the price would be $400 dollars per night, I said no problem, let’s book it. Hoping it would be a last great night of our vacation before heading home. Get to the motel, the gentleman in the lobby super nice, very professional. The lobby had a great vintage vibe going on, I was initially excited to be there. We travel 2-3 times a year, rarely staying in large chain hotels/motels, always trying to find local restaurants, local businesses to help. With that said, the initial excitement wore off as soon as we got to the room. A door that made a horrible noise upon opening it and closing it. A lot of nails and screws in the parking lot, unsure how cars weren’t getting nails in their tires. Bugs galore. I saw a cockroach in an outside vent (tried to take a picture on 2 occasions but wasn’t successful). Hinges on the doors rusted something awful, looked like the doors were about to fall off. Sliding door to our room was awful. Couldn’t hardly lock it. Multiple sheetrock repairs looked like had been performed by someone who had never worked in the trade before. Broken tiles in the shower, sink counter cracked. And then there’s the view from our room. There’s a MASSIVE sand dune in front of the 3 rooms that are “oceanfront” and COMPLETELY BLOCKS the view. I have pictures to confirm what I just stated (minus the front door making a horrible noise upon opening it and the sliding glass door not hardly sliding or locking). And then upon checkout, there was no place to leave the room keys (we had to leave before 6:00 a.m.) to catch our flight.
$400 dollars, for 1 night seems more than unreasonable, considering all the items mentioned above.
Do better.
