The cuisine here is popular, generous and tasty, in the art of the recipes of yesteryear. House specialties include the classic bucatini all'amatriciana (pasta with a tomato-based sauce, dried pork cheek and pecorino), as well as a wide selection of Roman-style fried dishes. In keeping with tradition, the menu will feature quinto quarto (offal) on Wednesday, gnocchi on Thursday, cod on Friday and tripe on Saturday. The wine list is dedicated to hand-picked Lazio vintages. Don't forget to book!

Matricianella è un'esperienza culinaria autentica nel cuore di Roma. I piatti tipici romani sono preparati con maestria, offrendo un viaggio delizioso attraverso la tradizione gastronomica della città eterna. Il personale è rapido e accogliente, aggiungendo un tocco di calore e familiarità a ogni pasto. O restaurante em si é ótimo, a comida excelente, os garçons são muito atenciosos e bem prestativos. O ponto negativo foi o dono ou gerente que tá um pouco impaciente já(entendo isso), um pouco rude para lidar com os clientes que estão à espera é pelo fato de ter acomodado primeiro clientes que chegaram depois de nós. Não sei se já o conhecia ou se eles pareciam mais ricos. Mas o cliente antes de sentar nos perguntou se também não tínhamos reserva. Confirmamos que não tínhamos, ele pediu para o dono e sentou primeiro que nós. Escolhi não me chatear e aproveitar o restaurante que vale muito a pena. Então aqui fica minha dica, reserve sua mesa e aproveite que a comida é excelente!
