Dear sly little minx, my buddy we followed your opinion, and I must say that we still speak it between us so this culinary meeting as well as human was authentic!
Do not be misled by the first impression, the restaurant is a bit " boui-boui" and Emilia, Gabriel and Jerome are charming and cook delicious specialties! the next time, it is safe, rents their aparté and makes our canteen: -)
The welcome is super nice, Jerome simmers you good local, hearty light meals! Emilia likes to chat (and it has full of things to tell!) and Gabriel can tell you about Paris where he worked. Unbeatable value! On request, we have been eating Portuguese beef stew and we enjoy ourselves!
NO ONE, I found the meal bad, bad reception (while you went for) puncha which musses... BOF! in short frankly disappointed! Is not worth a visit, that it is some.
Good address where you will be welcomed in a relaxed atmosphere, good child, by a very nice family having lived and work out years in Paris. Poncha with homemade dessert, via starter soup and where the other Portuguese specialities (excellent stew with chorizo and clams), you will not be disappointed not this stop indeed can last for ever if you chat an end with your guests! But after all, the spirit of the trip, it is also meetings and that you will charm you. Note that the family Nascimento above the restaurant has an apartment for rent for holidays, rebuilt in nine, very spacious and offering all the functionalities, far from the bustle of Funchal, for a stay of low of Madeira.
