To get to Porto Santo, regular ferry crossings from Funchal (one per day at 8am, or 7pm on Fridays, except Tuesdays between October and June) are operated by the Porto Santo Line. Depending on the day, the return trip from Porto Santo leaves at 6 or 8 pm. In some options, a shuttle bus can pick you up at your hotel in Funchal or Caniço. As schedules are quite fluctuating, please check the company's website. The crossing takes about 2 hours to cover the 75 km between Funchal and Vila Baleira. Restaurant on the spot.
