Here's a small palace amidst olive trees, with a pretty, almost abandoned sunken garden, adorned with statues and fountains. You can park the car in front of the bar-restaurant and go for a stroll, the place is very peaceful and perfect to conclude your excursion to El Pardo, before returning to the frenzy and heat of Madrid. A fence closes off a reserved area where, with a little patience, you can observe fallow deer and even the occasional wild boar from afar. The total surface area of the wood is 16,000 hectares.
