The best restaurants El Pardo

In the heart of a garden and immersed in the greenery of Monte del Pardo, the bustle of the Puerta del Sol (only 15 minutes away!) will seem very far away.... This family table (a small children's park is available for guests and some animals can be easily approached) is also a welcome haven of freshness in summer. And, not to spoil anything, the meat is particularly tasty, the portions are generous, the rather classic tapas menu is well provided and the terrace is really very pleasant.

In front of the Pardo Palace, here is a good table with a somewhat rustic décor and a warm welcome. Since 1980, the Lorden Rubio family has been treating their world to hearty dishes. If the word gamo means "stag", the card offers wild boar with apples and Hungarian game. Of course, we're still on the hunting grounds of the kings of Spain. There are also many good quality menus to make the most of the menu and, on Sundays, the establishment offers an entertainment for children... clown!

Open since 1702, Casa Pedro is a former inn for muleteers and herdsmen who took the French route to get out of town or to Madrid. The sale of Garnache wines and specialties such as roast lamb, cochonnet and local produce attracted such illustrious figures as members of the royal family, artists, bullfighters and politicians of the day, as evidenced by the dedications lining the walls. It's a beautiful building with a rustic architecture that's unique in Madrid. A true temple for wine lovers.
