An unbeatable price-quality ratio between Sol and Huertas for this address with a charming welcome and a very convenient location.

It is difficult to classify this hotel: its prices would earn it a mention in the "good and cheap" category, but its charm makes it a high quality establishment. The rooms all have a different decoration: coloured walls and pastel curtains, colourful tiles. In addition to the usual amenities, the building has a lift and the rooms have a refrigerator. An excellent address, where the owner speaks French. Not to spoil anything, the hotel is located two minutes from Sol and a stone's throw from the Plaza Mayor. A very convenient location.

La ubicación no puede ser mejor, cerca de Sol, Gran Vía y todo lo que necesites. Además toda la gente que trabaja allí es tremendamente encantadora. La calle tiene mucho ruido pero si cierras la doble cristalera no se oye nada. Sin embargo yo no sé si mis estándares de lo que se considera aceptable son muy altos o si esperaba demasiado pero las fotos no se asemejan a la realidad: paredes viejas, sin pintar, fundas de cama desgastadas, algún que otro pelo en la cama (realmente esto tampoco me pareció para tanto porque vi a las chicas entrar a limpiar y un pelo se le puede caer a cualquiera), baño insoportablemente pequeño e incómodo y con un olor a pis desde el día en que llegamos que no se iba... Quizás fue mala suerte, quizás nos topamos con una de las habitaciones más viejas y hay algo mucho mejor escondido que no vimos, pero no creo que vuelva a repetir. Y es una pena, porque con la calidad de gente que tienen trabajando aquí con un par de cambios estaría fenomenal, pero claro, también lo cobrarían mucho más caro. Es lo que hay.

I stayed in this hostel for 4 nights. Service was just average but location is very central, close by to several Metrol stations and walking distance to Gran Via shopping area. Setback is the neighboring building was a dance club with music blasting to the wee morning and loud noises (police sirens, people shouting etc) during night. I supposed you have no choice if you are near city center. The room wise, it was pretty decent, the only setback is the tiny bath cum toilet. Difficult to move around in that small bath room.
