The Robuchon Group's newest restaurant opened in Madrid in 2022. Housed in the emblematic Embassy, once a den of political spies, it brings to life the visionary culinary legacy of the late chef. In L'Atelier, Robuchon's iconic recipes, such as Imperial Caviar and the famous Mashed Potatoes, take their place, while local produce is given pride of place. The terrace is unique and, at the end of the evening, don't miss a detour to the basement speakeasy for a cocktail.

Ikigai offers a veritable culinary voyage! Nestled in the heart of the Salamanca district, you'll be amazed from the moment you enter this interior space inspired by New York apartments. In a warm, intimate atmosphere, chef Yong Wu Nagahira brilliantly revisits the great classics of Japanese cuisine: gyozas with white shrimp, Japanese croquettes with Robuchon purée and dried wagyu or the famous nigiris. Each bite holds an unexpected surprise. Accompanied by a glass of sake or wine, you're in for a real treat!

On the top floor of Callao's famous Corte Inglés, this food court is definitely worth a visit. Here, you can stroll between numerous stalls and take a culinary world tour. A dozen or so stands, spread over more than 1,500 m², allow you to devour a fine artisanal pizza, sample some excellent Mexican specialities or a few tapas from the Basque country, and so on. All while enjoying a superb and unique view of the capital! A good plan to remember.

Welcome to the best pizzeria in the neighborhood, with a smile on your face! Simple, fresh and well-made (which is quite rare in the Spanish capital), these wood-fired pizzas, which seem to have come straight out of a restaurant in Naples, are just perfect before starting your (long) evening in the bars of Lavapiés. If the card is rather classic, it is easy to find what you are looking for. And it's a change from the eternal tapas! Neapolitan Authentic Pizza (NAP) is successful and it's deserved! Opening in September 2022, Estimar, which has already proven itself in Barcelona, is the capital's new gourmet restaurant and, above all, a prime spot for tasting mainly ultra-fresh fish and seafood. In a contemporary setting, the Gotanegra family and Andalusian chef Rafa Zafra reinvent seafood in a kitchen that opens onto the dining room and offers a true culinary experience with iodized flavors. The clams and sea urchins are particularly well prepared and delight the taste buds.

Here's a place that's off the beaten track! La Casa Endulzada is all about magical decor and an atmosphere that seems to come straight out of a fairytale. As for the menu, it offers brunches measuring one meter (!) for two people, waffles, toasts, tapas and a few more sophisticated dishes... All washed down with magic potions! These potions take the form of cocktails, with or without alcohol, or smoothies. An original address for a moment out of time!

As soon as you enter, you're plunged into the Madrid of yesteryear. Behind a beautiful period façade, you'll be delighted to discover this typical tavern. Founded in 1786, it is one of the capital's oldest restaurants. In fact, it's the oldest bullfighting establishment in Madrid that hasn't changed its decor. Barrels, old bullfighting posters, gas lamps - it's all there. A real trip back in time! In the kitchen, you'll find all the classics of Castilian cuisine, from tapas and tostas to more elaborate dishes.

Casa Mortero, which opened its doors in 2021, offers a subtle return to tradition. And the success is there in this simple and design space that offers a menu that is certainly inspired by the great classics, but adds a touch of modernity and originality in each of its dishes. For starters, we liked the marinated mussels and the typical Salamanca torrezno and potatoes. Then we had to choose between different stews, meats and grilled fish before finishing on a sweet touch with a caramelized cheesecake. A delightful treat!

Nestled in Retiro, this is a multi-faceted establishment. With its indoor and outdoor terraces, this restaurant embodies the excellence of Florida Park. Chef Alberto Padin's expertise and talent are evident in every culinary creation. The à la carte menu celebrates seasonal cuisine, and features some of Madrid's must-try dishes. In fact, the ham croquette has won an award! You can also enjoy a plate of sushi to share, or octopus grilled to perfection. Reservations are recommended!
