C. CAMILLERI DOLCERIA
As this store belongs to a family that has been selling sweets (chocolates, candies) since 1843, and is the oldest confectionery shop in the archipelago, it's easy to understand why there isn't a single Maltese who hasn't walked through its door. Apart from the house specialties (date or honey rings, Qaghag tel-ghasel, or almond cookies), you'll find all kinds of confectionery as well as pretty cakes and one of the Maltese's favorite crackers to accompany an aperitif, Twistees. At lunchtime, sandwiches and wraps are also available.
