Founded in 1990, this artisan glassware manufacturer prides itself on using only traditional design and manufacturing techniques, and the finest materials possible, including the use of precious materials where necessary (24-carat gold and 925 sterling silver leaf). It is also one of the first European glassmakers to use 100% lead-free batches. Despite the somewhat touristy feel of the artisan village, the sight of glassblowers at work is always impressive.
