A small waterfall on the Karkotis River, with a huge boulder next to it, the source of many legends.
This 8 m-high waterfall of the Karkotis River (Καταρράκτης της Πέτρας του Ανδρογύνου/Katarraktis tis Petra tou Anrogynou, Kakopetria Waterfalls) is located next to a large sealed rock known as the "Couple's Stone". According to one legend, this rock gave Kakopetria its name of "bad stone", as a young couple was crushed to death by it. But another version has it that this same rock was just a festive place for the newlyweds.
