Útulné prostorné ubytování přímo u moře. Dalo se odtud krásnou pobřežní procházkou dojít do Paphosu.
Pokoj byl pěkný a čistý, snídaně vcelku dobré.

Wir haben 8 Nächte im November (Saison-Ende) in einem Apartment für 2 Personen im Erdgeschoss mit Blick auf den Pool verbracht.
Die Unterkunft liegt an der Küstenstraße. Es gibt Parkplätze direkt vor dem Hotel. Außerdem befinden sich Restaurants und eine Bushaltestelle in der Nähe.
Der Check-in war sehr freundlich, herzlich und reibungslos. Bereits vor der Anreise wurden wir nochmals kontaktiert, ob wir Unterstützung benötigen.

Unsere Unterkunft war zum Großteil gepflegt, teilweise in die Jahre gekommen, teilweise erneuert und sauber. Zimmer-Service wurde täglich angeboten.
Das Apartment hatte eine gute Größe, lediglich das Badezimmer war sehr klein. Dort fehlten auch Möglichkeiten um etwas abzulegen. Dafür gab es im Schlafzimmer eine große Kommode.
Die Küche hatte eine Basis-Austattung zum Kochen. Eine größere Pfanne haben wir auf Nachfrage erhalten.
Das Bett war bequem und wir konnten sehr gut schlafen.

Landes typisches und englisches Frühstück gab es direkt im Hotel an der Poolbar.
Abends gibt es dort auch Cocktails und Snacks.

Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten:
Bessere Reinigung der Küche und Küchenschränke (Oberflächen, Griffe), gegebenenfalls Erneuerung
Austausch der Türen im Apartment, da sehr alt
Bessere Pflege des Billard-Tisches. Vieles fühlt sich klebrig an.
Die Sauna scheint dauerhaft außer Betrieb zu sein. Bitte reparieren oder nicht mehr damit werben.

In Summe: Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, aber kein Luxus

A wonderful place with nice, spacious rooms. The sea view rooms have a breathtaking view.
We stayed in a one bedroom apartment that was equipped with facilities for preparing quick meals. The interior garden is fantastic, maintained very well by the personnel. The promenade near the hotel is very nice and you may enjoy nice walks.
The staff was very kind and Mr. Nicos Tooulias, the Managing Director, manages even complicated situations really professional.

We had a second floor 'side-view' of the sea & swimming pool & hills so did not get the sun in the day. However, we loved the view, the balcony, very spacious bedroom & lounge/kitchen. Staff were friendly & informative & the cleaners were brilliant every day, everywhere. From a location point of view the 615 bus is every 15 minutes each way from the front with the sea/promenade immediately at the back of the hotel. It is a quiet area with a golf course nearby as well as a gastropub, 2 local restaurants, an Indian restaurant, take-away Kebab & a varied well stocked mini-market. The pool is good with plenty of loungers & a view of the amazing sunsets. Good range of drinks & lovely staff at the poolside bar but don't expect much from the food. Only niggles were no instructions for the cooker, no tea towel or paper towel & lack of a microwave & non-stick frying pan. Overall, we found it excellent value for money.

Been coming to this hotel for 30+ years with our 4 daughters who are in their 20’s now, and they still love coming here! great location, lots of amenities, clean and tidy, wonderfully friendly staff that cannot help you enough, more like family than staff. This holiday was a little spoilt though, by 3 young women (who’ve left poor reviews below), they were loud, obnoxious, rude and not nice girls at all. This was not just directed at staff, but other guests as well! Very obviously they were looking for ‘click bait’ as they made video recordings of everything and everyone! I would have thrown them out of my hotel and I take my hat off to the staff for their tolerance in handling such awful girls! Unfortunately you cannot always guarantee the quality of other guests, but they’ve gone now and the hotel is back to its respectful self with staff and guests feeling more relaxed! Just another week left to enjoy ourselves!

Sono stata in vacanza in questo hotel e devo dire che è stato tutto perfetto, pulizia , cibo e cordialità - fino a quando delle ragazze, che hanno lasciato anche cattive recensioni relative a Mr. Loucas - , hanno pensato che fossero autorizzate a stare in piscina fino a tardi bevendo e ascoltando musica, rovinando così la pace e la quiete di tutti gli altri residenti. ovviamente abbiamo riportato l'accaduto ed il proprietario ha provato a farle smettere. Ciò che ha ricevuto sono insulti in russo e risatine ed è per questo che lo vediamo andare in escandescenze nel video, lui ha capito ciò che gli veniva detto. Stava facendo solo il suo lavoro ed è stato offeso da queste due ragazze ubriache. Chi è il villano? Lui che nonostante avesse capito tutto ha provato a mantenere la calma (anche se vediamo è stato difficile), o loro che hanno offeso in un'altra lingua non sapendo che molti ciprioti parlano Russo?
Mr. Loucas il tuo hotel è perfetto!

This is the worst staff we’ve ever seen in our life.
We are experienced travelers, we’ve been a lot of countries,a lot of hotels and this is the first time we have like this.
At the hotel there no any music at all.
They won’t allow you to listen to the music, to laugh, to talk.
Lady bartender band us from siting near the pool at 8 p.m. She screamed at as to don’t touch pillows. One employee chaises us like a hunter. We were trying to run away, but he started running to us.
NEVER COME HERE IF YOU ARE UNDER 70 YEARS OLD!

Ho scelto questo hotel vedendo le spettacolari foto su internet.
Solo la vista dalla piscina vale il prezzo!
Pulizia migliore trovata su tutta l isola di cipro, camera spaziosa e vista incantevole.
Suggerisco ai proprietari di migliorare la colazione e in generale il servizio del ristorsnte. Inoltre i sanitari del bagno andrebbero rivisti.
Con queste migliorie l'Helios potrebbe essere l'Hotel migliore di tutta Pafos!
Ringrazio molto tutto lo staff e in particolare per averci dato una camera al terzo piano !

TUI and Helios don't necessarily speak the same language..as the room with a good Seaview on a lower floor had different meanings. We were allocated one, as far from the sea as you could get, you had to be 8ft tall with a pair of binoculars to see the sea. This wasn't what I envisaged going through 11 months of cancer surgery, being promised by my husband to have a week away looking at the sea. Eventually, Helios managed to move us to a third floor, side view of the sea, room which was perfect. Should we go again I would book a sea view room, not a side view. The bus ran outside the hotel directly to Paphos one way and Coral Bay the other, running every 15 minutes. The pool bar seemed reasonable with ice creams and decent drinks. We did not eat there, but plenty of places around. There was a small supermarket next to the hotel,but Lidl was only a bus ride away and better value, including the price of the bus.
