I was absolutely blown away by the number and quality of the mosaics. 4.50 euros is a good price. The q code scan for UNESCO info was very informative and so was the written info at each site. Would go again.

Visiting the Archaeological Site of Nea Paphos was an unforgettable journey through time. From the ancient ruins to the stunning mosaics, every step felt like walking in the footsteps of history. The preservation efforts are commendable, allowing visitors to truly immerse themselves in the rich heritage of Cyprus. A must-visit destination for anyone with a passion for archaeology and culture!

Trzeba to zobaczyć. Mozaiki rzymskie zachowane w mniejszych i większych fragmentach, część na powietrzu część zadaszona.

Een must om deze site te bezoeken. Prachtig bewaarde mozaïeken. Zeer groot wandelgebied.

Miejsce warte odwiedzenia. Piękne mozaiki. Zwiedzanie wszystkich domów i pokoi zajmuję ok 3 godz.

Thousands of years of history. Stunning place!

The most brilliant mosaics - made with the tiniest tesserae - ever seen. Acres of wild nature, tamed with oleanders along pathways. Water vending machines a good start but a cafe is sorely missed. Amphitheatre / odeion impressive, benches in shade welcome. Interpretation film informative - ancientness all for a mere €4 - go, it's the (by far) better part of Kato Paphos.

I seldom say that somewhere is a "must see", but this site should be on everyone's itinerary. It has been designated a "World Heritage Site" for very good reason.

The site had activity from the Hellenic period through to the start of the Byzantine era. Much of it is from the Roman Empire.

The visitor's Centre has some items for sale, but the most important thing is that it has a large TV with some video of work that has been carried out. We saw the efforts to preserve a mosaic by lifting it up onto a wooden cylinder, then being preserved before replacing it on the original site.

Although there is a lot to see, a great deal of the archeology has been excavated, preserved, and then re-buried for future historians.

There are wooden walkways that take you up over certain key sections; including important buildings. However, watch out as some of the hand rails are getting a bit loose.

Many of the floors still have beautiful mosaics that you can enjoy. Some of the pathways also have small sections of mosaic that you can walk on; and reflect that both patrician and plebeian Romans would have walked on the same spot nearly 2000 years ago.

As you walk around, you can clearly see doorways, passageways, bathing areas, kitchens; it takes only a small amount of imagination to fill in the missing bits.

Even if you only have a passing interest in history, I think that you will not fail to be highly impressed.

Note that those over 65 can now get entry for free. The site may be a bit challenging for those with mobility issues, but there are a few places to stop and rest. There are also toilets which I found to be clean and well maintained.

Not a lot of shade. Not as interesting as I thought it would be.

Great site to visit, mosaics are stunning. Not a lot of shade so better on a cloudy day. Very cheap entry, we paid EUR 3.50 per person from memory. Kids go free.

Superb, a large site that's well worth a visit, especially if you are a birder. A great spot for viewing birds during the migratory season. Over 65's have free admittance.

Lots to see and good price at only €4.50pp. Toilets around the place which is useful. Could have had better signage as we got lost a couple times

Large area of antique well preserved tombs and groundfloors of different sized villas. Large and very detailed ancient mosaic floors were really worth visiting. Really much to see for 4,50 euro. I recomend????

Stunning beauty.

Amazing mosaics in the House of aion of teseus and dyonisos. Especially the last one is full of interesting stories of mithology represented on mosaics. You Could want a guide book for bette explanation but the signs are good.

The archeological park of Paphos is quite impressive, it offers many monuments such as a theater, ancient castle, mosaic, ruins etc. The walk that comes with it is also pleasant.
