Sentinel Dome and Taft Point can be coupled in a single hike. Follow the buckle in the opposite direction of a watch. Start by returning to Sentinel Dome by the northeast. At the top, a spectacular view awaits you. Once down, always by the northeast, follow the north trail towards Pohono Trail Junction. Take Pohono Trail Junction to southwest and Sentinel Creek before climbing to Taft Point Junction. Taft Point is located 0,8 km west (right), while the end of the trail is 0,8 km east (left).

La vue exceptionnelle une fois arrivé au sommet vaut le petit effort pour y grimper. On découvre alors une vue panoramique sur les différents sommet du parc (enfin sur cette zone). L'immensité du parc et de ses arbres est impressionnante. L'imaginer est impossible, il faut s'y rendre pour comprendre... A voir absolument.
