Beautifully appointed campgrounds with gorgeous views, friendly staff and meticulously maintained grounds. This will be our go to place every time we travel through the area with our camper Van. Highly recommended!

Wir waren Anfang November hier mit einem 25 ft RV für drei Nächte. Auch wenn die Straße zum Platz auf dem letzten Stück sehr eng ist und die Auf- und Abfahrt mit einem RV etwas abenteuerlich macht, war Saddle Mountain Ranch einer der schönsten Plätze, die wir auf unserer Reise erlebt haben. Der Stellplatz war klein, aber wir waren tagsüber sowieso unterwegs. Toiletten und Duschen waren super sauber und da wir scheinbar in der Nebensaison hier waren, auch ausreichend. Die gesamte Anlage ist trotz ihrer schwierigen Hanglage wunderschön angelegt und extrem gut gepflegt. Der Service beim Check in war ebenfalls sehr nett und hilfreich.

Toller Campingplatz mit Pool in traumhafter Umgebung, direkt am Hang gelegen... nicht ganz günstig aber jeden Cent wert. Leider fehlt eine Waschmaschine um den Platz perfekt zu machen.

Zacznę od tego, ze na stronie jak i biurze jest jasno napisane, ze czynne od 9-21.
Przyjechaliśmy o godzinie 19:40, oczywiście nikogo nie zastaliśmy w biurze, zamknięte, na kempingu ciemno. Na szybie napisane, ze wolne miejsca 33-34, wybraliśmy 34, szukając w ciemnościach, w końcu docierając do miejsca, okazuje sie, ze jest to ciasna parcela, z miejscem na samochód. Rozłożyłem namiot, napompowalem materac, ułożyłem pościel, wszystko wydaje sie być dobrze, po chwili wraca żona, ze potrzeba kod do prysznica, wracamy pod biuro, jest z dużej górki wiec lżej, godzina 20:25, brak kogokolwiek,personelu, obcych ludzi żeby wypytać choćby o kod do toalet. Napisaliśmy wiadomość e-mail z prośba o kod do toalet, prysznica, napisaliśmy na numer telefonu, który jest podany do kontaktu od 9-21 do rana brak odzewu. Wróciliśmy pod namiot, okazalo sie, ze mamy 3 nowych gości SZCZURY!! Długo sie nie zastanawiając zwinęliście wszystko i spaliśmy w samochodzie (duży suw, wiec poszło bez problemu) , ale czy za 70 dolarów powinno to tak wyglądać?
Na domiar złego personel rano, mowa raczej o 1 Pani która mówiła po angielsku bo reszta Pan niestety nie, poinformowaly, ze o tej porze tutaj nikogo nie będzie. (Była godzina 9:05) Mowię, ze chce zapłacić za miejsce, z którego w sumie skorzystałem, po następnych 20minutach przyjechała kierowniczka ( tak sie nazwała) z obraza mówiąc ze jej tutaj jeszcze nie powinno byc i ze przeze mnie musiała przyjechać…
Bez przepraszam i czegokolwiek , mogłem po prostu z tamata odjechać. To ja musiałem sie prosic, tracić swoj czas, denerwować żeby mieć czyste sumienie i zapłacić za miejsce na namiot, a w sumie na samochod , ktore nawet nie było tego warte! Dramat i nie polecam!

Very cute campground. Staff all super friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the hike to the top of the mountain...beautiful view and a pretty spanish moss covered forest along the way.

We just left and had the best experience! Such a beautiful resort, we stayed in a large RV spot and it was very comfortable. We needed to trim a tree a little bit to accommodate our camper trailer and they were very quick to come help us! Victor was very nice and was willing help us with all our needs. The pool is beautiful and the hiking trail was wonderful! Very clean resort. We will be coming back!!

Extremely tight driveway and parking areas. Be prepared to listen to children running and screaming every morning alongside construction noises. Any idling truck/golf cart near the office will fill your RV with exhaust. There is very little privacy or space in each site. The dumpster for bagged trash is at the top of a long and steep road. This place just has too many cabins and sites squished into a small area, which is a shame because it’s a large acreage in a beautiful area. The proximity to Carmel and Monterey is great, and the price point reflects that.

O local é agradável, com piscina, espaço de convivência e vários banheiros, com espaços para motorhome, acampar e algumas cabanas. Estivemos no local com motorhome C 30 e não tivemos problemas para manobrar.

Wir waren 2 Nächte mit 25 Fuß RV hier. Die Straße zum Campground ist sehr eng, Gegenverkehr muss hoffen in einer der Ausbuchtungen zu stehen. RV Platz war eher auf der engen Seite. 1 Toilette und 1 Dusche nur, das war etwas wenig. Beim Pool gab es noch ein paar mehr Toiletten.

Great RV park for the family. Playground for the little ones and a giant heated pool for all to enjoy. The drive up is a little tricky for our 39fr RV, but it was manageable. Friendly staff. Don't forget to grab the $1 dollar ice cream.

K, so this place is beautiful but the name 'saddle mountain' holds true. Saddle up and bring your medium or small sized car (probably not a LONG and TALL RV) for the campsites that are on the beautiful hill side. Also, personal perspective, but children under five might have the harder time with the cliff side tent camping and the hill walking. Be prepared to walk your little one around the grounds.

Great camping and view ???? cleaned bathrooms & showers... close to grocery stores and beaches, lots of places to hike. Heated Swimming pool...Definitely will be back here

Where do I start? Is it the fact that the website is screwy and allows guests to pick sites that aren't available? Is it that the "heated' pool is frigid? We were told, "hey, it's not the ocean!" You're right. The ocean is cleaner. No, I'll start with the fact that we, a family of 4 with 2 small children, we're initially offered the most secluded site, an arduous 10 min climb from the bathrooms and camp kitchen.

We chose the other site that was 8 min away instead. There was no water at our site. Despite all of that, it still cost $80-90/night.

Now, we went to the front desk several times to ask about other sites. We were told none were available. Yet, another member of our party walked up and scored a site directly next to the bathrooms.

What can I say that's good about this place? I guess I had a good workout going back and forth to the camp kitchen.

Otherwise, what an overpriced campground this is. We will not be returning. I suggest if you're reading this, go elsewhere. It's not worth it.

Tight and steep if you are towing something you are very grumpy

Clean. Atender was very nice and accommodating. Relaxing atmosphere

We reserved a drive-in tent site for 4 days. Site #35 has a good sized pad that can accommodate a 12-person tent nicely and the view of the Carmel Valley was anazing. Sites 33 and 34 are very small and leave a lot to be desired.

They are dog friendly.

There is an Olympic sized pool which is clean and we'll kept. There is a playground for the kids and lots of activities. The bathrooms are spotless and there are washing sinks for tidying up after cooking.

Besides camp sites, there are glamping tents, RV parking (although a bit small) and 5 cottages with all the amenities.

Overall, a great experience and a well run facility. Will definitely stay again.

Beautiful campground just 15 min from Carmel Beach. Many options from tent camping to cabins. Very hilly, though.

It was peaceful and nice. The only negative thing was that they promote a heated pool put it isn’t.

We LOVED this place! They have a really nice playground and a big pool. Everything was super clean and the staff very helpful. We hope to be back one day.
