This rather chic restaurant with a sober decoration serves, in addition to some meats, seafood caught in a sustainable way. We recommend the fried octopus salad served with a lightly spiced vinaigrette and the coho salmon with French lentils, buttered cabbage and burnt onions. The duck confit reduced in honey isn't bad either, with its smoked chili potato cake and grilled broccolinis. On the wine side, the 2019 Chalone Chardonnay, Monterey's oldest vineyard, is very good.

Always delicious, always fresh. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and explained things in beautiful word pictures that truly helped guide our ordering choices. PLEASE - Do yourself a favor...get a $3 biscuit for yourself. You could share it, but you will be a little sad you did afterward. Life changing.

Scallops (both as an appetizer and main dish) were fantastic! Cooked to perfection and beautifully sauced and seasoned, all the sides were delicious as well. The Duck was on the dry side, but still a great dish.

Very nice meal. Food was very good. Well prepared and pleasantly flavored. We have the shrimp, scallops, and duck. Desserts were also very good!
