Aliotti's Victorian Corner
Read moreA delightful setting reminiscent of English tearooms in downtown Pacific Groveert from breakfast to dinner. The menu is inspired by Italy, offering fresh salads, gourmet sandwiches (with a special mention for the eggplant sandwich) and great breakfasts at reasonable prices. As its name suggests, this Victorian building with its pleasantly colored facade is part of the landscape. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
PASSIONFISH
Read moreThis rather chic restaurant with a sober decoration serves, in addition to some meats, seafood caught in a sustainable way. We recommend the fried octopus salad served with a lightly spiced vinaigrette and the coho salmon with French lentils, buttered cabbage and burnt onions. The duck confit reduced in honey isn't bad either, with its smoked chili potato cake and grilled broccolinis. On the wine side, the 2019 Chalone Chardonnay, Monterey's oldest vineyard, is very good.
