Stores and restaurants in Monterey with a beautiful view of the sea and attracting many tourists
It is a pleasant and colorful walk along the pier built a century ago by the fishermen. Today, the wooden houses have been renovated and transformed into stores and restaurants. Some of them offer a beautiful view of the sea, and depending on the season, you can observe whales in the distance in the ocean as well as pelicans, sea lions and other coastal inhabitants. Along with Cannery Row, it remains the main tourist attraction in Monterey. So... you'll see a lot of tourists there too! But the place is worth a visit.

Très beau quartier et typique pour se remémorer les nouvelles de Steinbeck avec son célèbre cannery raw.

Si Monterey est une ville très agréable, y séjourner sans aller faire un tour au Fisherman's Wharf paraît inconcevable ! Vous y observerez et admirerez sans effort lions de mers, loutres de mers et otaries. Ces animaux marins séjournent là à l'année et font le show, juchés sur leur petit bout de rocher le long du quai. Vous pourrez assister à quelques combats juste pour un mètre carré de place, pendant qu'en mer, quelques loutre vous offriront un spectacle de dégustation de moules à se damner !

A voir depuis le chemin côtier "Monterey peninsula recreation trail" car sur le quai lui-même, il y a du monde et des boutiques et restaurants sans intérêt.

Mignonne petite promenade, vous pouvez admirer les lions de mer prélassés au soleil et quelques loutres.
