San Francisco's favorite surfing spot, with beach cafes, a good place for picnics and campfires.
The strong currents and violent waves make Ocean Beach a favorite spot for surfers. The surfing community gathers in the beach cafes for a break to warm up and get some strength. It's a nice place to have a beer on the beach at sunset and maybe see some seals or whales offshore. Be careful with the weather though, it is very rare to see the sun at Ocean Beach, it tends to stop a few blocks before so bring a good hoodie. Good spot for picnic and campfire.

Ocean beach - SFO
Magnifique plage aux portes du Golden Park. Le sable brulant permet de faire une pause bien méritée après une longue marche dans les rues pentues de San Francisco. D'ailleurs, il y a une très jolie randonnée à faire de cette plage, au Golden Gate Bridge en longeant l'océan. Un sentier de balade aménagé permet de jolies découvertes!
