Contemporary cubic forms are combined with this 1907 disused old power plant: the architect Daniel Libeskind wanted to symbolise harmony between the new and the old. In the entrance, letters in neon, speaking phonetically in Hebrew, mean orchard and allude to the Persian roots of the garden of Eden. Temporary exhibitions are presented. Open every day from 11am to 5pm. Closed on Wednesdays. Adults 14 US$, seniors and students 12 US$, free for those under 18 years old. Thursday after 5pm 8 US$ for everyone except under 18 years old (free).
