Stayed here for 1 of 3 days. Room is small not horrible in size.
The view from the window is to another rooms window so nothing special.

I had an issue where the A/C was blaring and stayed on, on top of that there was a huge clump of dust on it and around it on the ceiling(img attached). When I'd set the fan to auto and temp, it would cool to the set temp and continue cooling, the situation was similar with the heat.

At one point i went out for the evening and mentioned it to staff who said they'd have an engr look at it, came back that night and the temp control was set to Fahrenheit again so i assumed and set to what the room is usually set to on arrival so I assumed it was fixed.. Woke up in the night due to same issue, room got too cold, turned off the AC and woke up later on as the temp went up to around 27 degrees and it got too hot.

Regardless with the A/C on it was extremely loud and being i was there for only 3 more days I told myself i need to leave otherwise I will get sick.

Spoke to front staff and they said I'd have to pay an early departure fee of what seemed around $190 which I was not ok with but its a work trip so it can be covered.. They then offered to speak with the Mgr as well incase anything can be done and otherwise email me the final invoice so I was fine with that and moved on only to learn later i was charged the full amount of my stay on my CC without adjustments.

In the end, I contacted the hotel and they refunded me $800 and charged me $420 for early departure fee.

Rooms were pretty worn and dirty. Every surface in my room had grime - even the wallpaper and curtains. Fortunately the bed was clean and comfortable. Walkable location around union square area but did not feel the safest. Because of the conference food and drink options at the hotel weren’t available

The room was unbelievably noisy.
We mesured over 48dB non stop.
Room is literally next to the main building outisde fan with extremely poor isolation.
48dB is about 16-32 times louder than the maximum based sound for hotel on American legislation.

Anyway you guys must change that, some of the room are just horrible.

I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and calmness of this hotel. Room, lobby, elevators all clean and nice. Room was huge with no smell (other reviews mentioned a smell which I was worried about). Only room complaint was that the fridge was barely cold and the safe didn't work but other than that it was clean and well stocked. Bed was comfortable. Lots of towels, coffee, in the room. I knocked off a star bc there was no valet parking or anyone outside to help direct you what to do which was confusing on the busy street. I left my bf with the car and the reception host said for us to unload our luggage and park at the 5th and Mission lot which was $45/overnight and not secured.

PARK ACROSS THE STREET. Me and my partner came for my 21st birthday, and the valet is a complete mess. I called beforehand to see what the best way to park is, Natalie told me to pull up out front and valet will take my car to the parking garage. Natalie was the only helpful person here. After waiting on the side of the road for over 45 minutes for valet to move the cars in front of the hotel (in the only spaces to park for valet), we were told to just park in front of the entrance to the garage, because it was taking so long. Keep in mind, the valet service was $50 a day, when the public parking next to the hotel was apparently $40 a day. The valet “service” also took about 30 minutes to return my car as I was checking out of the hotel. Along with a lack of amenities, and a huge waste of time and stress, I can say I wish I would’ve selected a different hotel. :(

I was really excited about staying at hotel Zetta. It has good reviews and is rated as a 4 star. I would personally call it a 3 star. It’s not that it wasn’t nice, but the details were just lacking. The rooms walls were scuffed, the shower caulk was dirty, the vents were caked in dust. I paid for an upgraded room with added beverages, and it honestly felt like a downgrade.

This used to be my go-to hotel when staying in SF especially when I would do a night with my now 19 year old. I don’t know what’s happened but this has been a truly disappointing experience starting when we arrived to drop the car and our bags before walking to lunch.

I parked out front and waited for the valet who didn’t come out. I inadvertently parked in the bike lane when we took our bags in and they wouldn’t move my car until I parked in the lane outside the valet parking signs.

The folks at the desk were not friendly and helpful and it was if we were burdening them with our arrival. The fact that I’d stayed here a half dozen times should have shown in my profile.

Our room has windows facing essentially a brick wall and the windows of another room. For the same rate in years past I’ve had actual views of the Sf streets. It doesn’t seem to be busy in the hotel so I would have expected they would have given us a nicer room if for nothing else than to engender good will and give Sf a better reputation.

We won’t be staying here again. I am very disappointed.

The valet service was terrible. The guy hit the curb with my brand new 2023 Lexus and acting like no big deal even after I called him on it. The young girl at the front desk appeared tired and out of it. No facial expression.

Great Hotel

This was by far one of the nicest out of the ordinary places I have ever got to stay. The art and colors along with a great staff and on top of all a great manager named Diane. I will return when staying in San Francisco.

No people skills. They just stand there and stare at you. They have valet parking because there is no room for a parking lot. They have to take your car off sight to God knows where. They have no respect for your vehicle. I saw the guy hit the curb hard with my new 2024 lexus & I called him on it. He didn't say a word and walked away.

My stay at the hotel had its highs and lows. The property is visually stunning, and the service was generally satisfactory. We booked through Amex, opting for the best available option. Unfortunately, our room (519) had a pervasive burnt oil odor, which intensified with the air conditioning on. Upon inquiry, we learned that this was due to a restaurant or food service located behind the hotel, suggesting a lack of adequate measures to address this issue. Despite the hotel's aesthetic appeal and decent service, the discomfort caused by the room's smell was significant. With many other hotels in the vicinity, I would recommend exploring other options for a more pleasant stay.

Perfect location just off Market Street. Rooms were well priced, I plan on coming back to Zetta the next time I'm in town.

Service was great, front desk staff were friendly.
Rooms were not in good condition bed was not as pictured, bathroom dirty. Could tell the room had been used a lot, lots of wear and tear.
Location was amazing, building secure.

Let’s start with the most alarming things. There was a rat in the lobby last night. I verified with the security guard on site who saw the same thing. One of the elevators had an odor (like it was cleaned with a sour mop), and the other just didn’t work. It was like a scary movie.

This hotel is more of a decorated hostel vs an experience hotel. The rooms are pretty subpar from pictures and quite dusty (there was actually a purifier in our room to help support air quality ). If you’re on a budget, the hotel isn’t that bad (besides the rats). But if you want a good experience at a clean + functional hotel, go elsewhere.

Side note - I told the lady at the front desk there was a rat in the lobby and she didn’t seem to care. But maybe they are just used to those kind of things.
