Oliver the General Manager is very rude and unprosessional. I called Cafe De La Presse beause I have a gift card to the resturant. I wanted to obtain more information from Cafe de La Presse on how to use it. Oliver was very rude on the phone and continnue to inform me that the e-gift cards are not accepted. I tried multiple times to inform Oliver I am not understanding what he is informing me of however his condesising tone and attitude made it very difficult for him to explain properly. I tried asking Oliver if there is anyone else I can communicate with as we are not getting anywehre his only solution was to say no and repeat himself when I told him I do not understand. SUPER RUDE AND NOT WORTH IT AT ALL.

Quaint little French style Cafe near Chinatown. Definitely worth a stop if you're in San Francisco and want to get coffee from a place that isn't called Starbucks.

The food us just fantastic! Service, well, the waitress jostled huge plates on tiny tiny high table without once offering us a larger table. Was so bad that we had to put some plates on the stools. There were plenty of larger tables, it was mid afternoon so great atmosphere but half empty. Don't let our experience put you off as the food is exceptional.

I have been working all over the Europe and in France as well and I can’t say in the cafeteria it was something tasty like in Paris. Maybe coffee is much more similar, but the food was not.

This place has so much damn charm. French comfort food with an atmosphere for hanging out all day in the cafe window reading one of their magazines sipping espresso.

A great spot to enjoy international cuisine. The Escargots were tasty. The Deviled Eggs are a must! Creamy and adorned with caviar. Staff are warm and friendly.

We really liked this place and the bartender and other staff were cool. But we stopped in for a drink the owner kept walking around the whole time and was making us feel uncomfortable and clearly the staff too. Read the room and trust your employees

Great place to try something new. The burger was great as was the salmon. It is located next to hotel Triton. Which has a blue sign and The restaurant sits on a corner. The staff was very friendly, and knowledgeable. I would go there again.

Worst experience I've ever had in San Francisco. Extremely rude owner, forced everyone to stand outside in the cold when there was no one inside and they were just opening at 8am. I walked in to sit by the bar because I didn't need or want a table/reservation he kept repeating and yelling in his restaurant. He basically forced me out of his empty restaurant. I went across the street at the Starbucks where I was welcomed. Would not recommend going to this place ever, extremely rude and practically non-existent customer service. They will probably hand you your food and kick you out. Horrendous.

The food was lovely and came quickly, and the staff were incredibly cordial and helpful; even after asking for the check they encouraged us to take our time. It offered a nice respite after hours of walking and we really enjoyed the meal.

I met a friend here for lunch, and it was delicious! I had the quiche and we split some fries and brussel sprouts. My daughter had the fried chicken sandwich, which had 2 generously sized chicken pieces on it. The sprouts were especially good. The service was fantastic as well. There is a lovely view of the entrance to Chinatown.
