The Fox Glacier Valley Walk (1 hour round trip) leads to the glacier terminal, but attention is paid to the still possible rock falls! The parking, at the start of the Fox Glacier Valley Walk, is one of the spots where elevations (endémiques parrots of mountains) can be observed, superb birds, not really fierce, and who love to take a stand on backpacks and other accessible objects. It is absolutely forbidden to feed these birds.

Nous pouvons accéder très facilement à un beau point de vue du glacier (après une montée assez raide).
Mais nous avons préféré le Franz Josef Glavier.
Restez prudents et respectez les règles de sécurité (il y a des panneaux à l'entrée du chemin, vous ne risquez pas de les manquer), et profitez du paysage, vraiment exceptionnel !
Moins impressionnant que le Franz Joseph Glacier, mais à faire sans hésiter !
