Les Boulders are Formées formed millions of years ago, build limestone around a nucleus when New Zealand was Underwater. A geological curiosity not to be missed and with the same characteristics as the Moeraki Boulders in the South island, sometimes even more imposing. Just follow Waione Road from Koutu Loop Road. A 1,4 km walk starts at the parking lot.
