In the pleasant Wynyard Quarter, 16 Tun is well known to fans of New Zealand beers, with no less than twenty draughts from both islands. It's hard to choose, but they'll be happy to advise you and let you try them out, so you'll find something to suit your taste. The setting is very metallic, with exposed blowers and lots of copper, especially at the counter. There are several high tables and secluded banquettes for added privacy. The terrace overlooks the pedestrian street in this rapidly changing district. You can eat in.
